Today morning I saw this robin jumping around in my garden, I quickly took my camera and shot some pictures of it. I am happy that it got so close to my window and therefore it was easy to get some really nice closeup pictures of the bird before it vanished again. At the spot wehere I cut down the tree I place some nuts for the birds and I am already doing it now so they are used to this spot in winter time. This little robin was curious enough and already tried some nuts that I deposited for it there.

The robin is one of my favorite birds since it is usually not a shy bird and comes pretty close, its fleeing distance is very nice and lets people come pretty close without flying away.
