"Working while the world relaxes takes a special kind of motivation."

Good day, Hivers!!

Sharing another busy Sunday I had.

My husband went to the market while I was still asleep. When I got up, my breakfast was ready. He prepared pochero, or the pork stew with plantain and pechay. I didn't manage to take a photo of my scrumptious breakfast because I was in a hurry to start my morning tasks. 馃榿

After a few hours of working in our bedroom 馃槀, I had a short break. My husband handed me some sweet corn. Ohhh, it was perfect for a cool break. It was raining at the time, and the sweet corn was piping hot. 馃槀

After finishing my sweet corn, I went straight to my bedroom "office" to continue working. This is my usual Sunday. Always work, work, and work. That's why I really enjoy going out if I don't have work to do on the weekend. I would usually go out and enjoy an afternoon walk or the sunset. If I'm busy, my husband would be busy too. He prepares my food and snacks. 馃槄

In my afternoon break, my husband gave me kakanin. We call it Alupi Balinghoy. It's cassava cake wrapped in banana leaves.

We sometimes pair it with coffee.

The highlight of Sunday is my parcel. 馃槅 yeah, my parcel arrived.

I ordered some seeds online. Thanks to dreamrona@dreamrona for recommending the shop that sells quality seeds.

I got some ampalaya, eggplant, strawberry, and more.

I may stay at home for work all the time, but I always make sure to go out and tend to our small garden. That's my daily exercise.

The weekend for me means staying in front of my computer for the whole day. But this is bearable because of my husband's help.

How about you? How was your weekend?
