Hola Hiverun Runners...
Joining the Hiverun community has had a lot of influence on me. As a worker, I have a job that is so draining. Sometimes the tiredness affects my mood so that I become very lazy to do exercise. With the help of this community, at least I have forced myself to move, something that is very good for my body. If not, maybe I would be lazy all the end of this year because my energy has been drained by work.
Today, I did it. Forcing myself to move. Like today I force myself to run even after ofiice. When I was at home I immediately prepared my simple running equipment so that after work I could stop by the GBK stadium. Although it would make me carry a lot of weight, as long as there were lockers in the GBK area I was not worried.
I was very lucky today because it was a sunny day. The past few days, it had rained when the sun started to set, so that made me give up on running even though I was off duty. Fortunately, the universe was on my side this time.
Unlike the usual Sundays, GBK was a bit quiet today. That made me relax a little. After changing clothes, I did a quick warm-up, then booked the nearest locker. This locker really helped me when I did my weekly run alone. For one hour of rental, I was charged IDR 11K, which is equivalent to approximately 0.8 USD. Quite cheap. The locker is also big, I can put my backpack containing my laptop, clothes, and also my sandals. Very practical.
Every week is a start for me, so I don't push myself to run. I only ran about 3 laps, and that was enough to make me sweat a lot. Even though this run was the first one this week, I didn't feel as heavy as when I started running after a 1-week break. I really enjoyed it.
