I usually go straight to creating the image on my canvass like how I imagine it. There are no line drawings or initial sketches I just go with the flow of my hands. I am using this sharp edged 3D shapes which I can freely form anything from it just like this blue shape that looks like a frog's head.

That was a successful start as it went right the first time. I am going for a frog character who is supposed to be cooking in the kitchen. It will mostly be dependent on the amount of details that I am ready to create or on the amount of time I have in my hands if I can truly create that vision.

So here I already chose the color of the frog which is purple and that is the aim. This makes it easier for me to envision the image and the creation process will be much more smoother. I added the details like the eye and the shadow on the opposite eye as early as this stage of the drawing. I want to see results to keep me going and motivated

I really got excited and added a few more details like the orange scarf the dark green coat the pink gloves and pale blue shirt. I think I am loving it at this moment.

So after a few minutes I was able to make the finish look of the frog. I added the buttons on the shirt, the pants and the shoes and extended the scarf a bit at the back and changed the color to egg yellow. I also added a texture on the face and body of the frog to give it some depth. At this point I have no time and energy to create the cooking imagery. One trick I thought of is add a wooden spoon :) Maybe if I have more time I can add some background to it to complete the look but I am happy to be able to create this cute character in less than 8 minutes. Hope you like it
