Hey guys triedto participate into the Charactober character design challenge over on the drawaday community which is such a fun spin on the usual Inktober promptsToday's prompt is "the leaf sorter," I wanted to create someone who looks genuinely enchanted by the cozy autumn job.Decided to let the leafy autumn theme inspire the entire character design, starting with that rich, warm brown hair I want it to cascade in jagged, leaf-like layers. Gave her a gentle, cheerful profile with open mouth in glee as she inspects a bright golden leaf up close, complete with a cozy yellow scarf and muted green jacket to really embrace that fall color palette.
Stuck to my signature clean and flat design style here. By keeping the shapes sharp, the outlines removed, and the color blocks solid, the focus stays entirely on his expression and the quiet story behind his work.
Are you participating in any drawing challenges this month, or do you prefer sketching at your own pace?
