Hello I am sharing another Doodle Magic transformation. I previously posted a random shape see below and thought that I would transform it myself. So, I started with this angular, sweeping brown shape that had these sharp cutouts and heavy geometric slopes. Looking at the way it angled downward, I immediately saw a dramatic side swept hairstyle.
I used that dark brown silhouette as the anchor for the entire head, I tilted it to make it look like a disheveled hair. I started then building out a wide-eyed profile beneath it with an open mouth and a bright yellow collar to balance the dominant brown. Once the character was set, I added that tiny black flying bug right in front of his face as a last funny detail. That open mouth needs something to compliment it. Then suddenly that wide-open expression completely changed into someone caught totally off guard: about to swallow a bug.
Stuck to my signature clean and flat aesthetic for this piece. Ditching the outlines and letting solid blocks of color do all the story telling. This keeps the silhouette super punchy, making the story behind the doodle instant and fun.
What about you guys what do you see hope you join this doodle magic drawing challenge. I included the shape below if you would like to give it a shot
