It’s been a while since I updated this blog.
Life got busy, and my attention shifted to other things, or maybe I lost motivation for a lot of things. Although, drawing didn’t completely disappear, but it became one of those things I kept meaning to get back to.
I picked up my pen and drew something simple: a little bug sitting on a flower. There’s something I enjoy about drawing small things from nature. A flower might look ordinary at first, but once you start paying attention, there are so many little details to notice.
Like the shape of the petals, the tiny body of an insect, the way they exist together. The flower standing tall and pretty while the bugs sits there doing whatever bugs do.
It also felt nice to make something without overthinking it, no pressure to create anything groundbreaking, which is exactly why sketchbooks exist.
How are y'all doing?

Happy weekend.....
