This is Stella the character I was working on previously which inspired the Charactober The Great Leafturn drawing challenge. Matter of fact the word leaf sorter became a prompt of that said drawing challenge. I am just glad to know that. Today I finally sat down to finalize the colors of this new forestfolk character. The longer I wait the crazier the color combinations I come up with. I stick with the beige , burnt orange, green, reddish brown and listened to your suggestion of adding blue to the autumnal palette.
On the image above I added this thing to form part of Stella's uniform, this is the part I will color blue based on your suggestions. I made it look like a pair of wings but they are not wings I just want you guys to think and tickle your imagination
Burnt orange, reddish brown and moss green are the final main colors for this autumnal character. They echo the colors of the falling leaves of autumn. Despite my love for flat colors the hands here are already showing some ombre effect which I also applied on the uniform.
I am happy to have finished my character and I can now safely say that she belongs to the Charactober theme. Hope you enjoyed reading and thanks for dropping by
