My Acorn Gatherer OC

She is a little forestfolk who is a gatherer and spends her days wandering through the oak trees looking for the best acorns to collect for the cold months ahead. In a way this is my participation in the charactober character design challenge. My version of the acorn gatherer is someone who is happy just doing that humble job on a regular basis. That is the big inspiration behind this drawing.
I really wanted her outfit to feel super cozy and warm and autumnal so I gave her this big oversized hood and cloak in a vibrant orange red color. The color base is bright and cheerful and that is what I love about her look. It contrasts so well with the dark indigo underskirt underneath. If you look closely at her neck she has this cute golden clasp shaped like a heart holding her cloak together. Her hands are tucked right into her cloak pockets which makes her gesture feel so open and approachable. I did not give her any tool for now
The part that took me the longest was her crown piece I doodled all these intricate golden swirls oak leaves and tiny forest details right above her hood. They might look a little bit chaotic together but that gives her that magical and whimsical woodland feel that I wanted. I chose this soft brown color for her eyes and gave her a gentle smile to bring good energy for the day.
I鈥檓 thinking of naming her Oakley that's an obvious choice 馃榿. What do you think fits her best?
Thank you for checking out my post hope this sweet little gatherer brought a spark of inspiration or a smile to you today!馃ぃ

Cheers
Krisette
