Happy Sunday everyone! First up, it's Leo Power Up Day so I went ahead and powered up all of my liquid LEO tokens. This month I had a little over 159 that I powered up, not too bad...

It's always a good move to participate in LPUD as well as other token power up days to potentially win some prizes for participation. LEO token is having a bit of a run price wise as they have switched to a deflationary token model now ahead of schedule. I suspect it may become much more expensive in the coming months.

Now for the regularly scheduled Sunday giveaway!

Welcome back to my weekly Sunday giveaway. This week once again there were 47 participants just as there were last week. I'm glad everyone is enjoying this fun, weekly initiative and it's my way of giving back to the Hive community that has helped me grow my account over the last couple of years.

Starting this week there will be a new prize every week, some ARCHON tokens! These have been generously supplied by melinda010100@melinda010100 and the Archon Community. Thanks so much for supporting the giveaway!

As the number of participants have increased I've been adding prizes and bonus spins to make it more likely that everyone will have a chance to win. If I continue to see more growth I'll add some more prizes as well. I want to take a moment to thank alohaed@alohaed and beelzael@beelzael for being kind enough to sponsor some HSBI prizes for the winners of the regular spins number two through five. I really do appreciate your support!

And as always I want to leave more information on the other tokens that are up as prizes as well so you can check them out. I'm invested in both of these projects pretty heavily, just a disclaimer!

For more information on CCD tokens, they are the currency from cryptocompany@cryptocompany created by powerpaul@powerpaul . Check out the website: https://cryptocompany.ceo/

For more information on BBH, a project from bradleyarrow@bradleyarrow please check out the post: @hive-112281

Let's have a look at the favorites from last week's entry question before we get to the prizes. Last week the question was your favorite sea creature and we had a plethora of choice. Let's have a look:

Dolphin

eskipaper.com

The ever friendly and intelligent dolphin took home the prize for first place being picked by ten participants. They frequently enjoy interacting with humans and even are known to help net fisherman by rounding fish into their nets. In return, the fisherman share part of the catch with the dolphins.

When my son was younger he loved feeding the dolphins at Sea World. They swim right up and ask for the fish, of course you have to buy the fish to feed them and they weren't cheap if I recall! Thanks for the great pick by silverd510@silverd510 , ekavieka@ekavieka , imfarhad@imfarhad , ladymisa@ladymisa , mytechtrail@mytechtrail , hafiz34@hafiz34 , stranger27@stranger27 , suisver@suisver , ckjcn22@ckjcn22 and gornat@gornat !

Octopus

wallsdesk.com

The second most picked creature was the octopus eight participants. These eight tentacles sea dweller are well known for being intelligent and very innovative. They also have some very odd DNA, different from most other animals on the planet. Some claim they descend from aliens, I don't buy into that theory personally. They are a very cool animal to see while diving on the reefs, although they can be hard to spot as they are very good at hiding.

Thanks for this pick to geneeverett@geneeverett , ronnie10@ronnie10 , dewabrata@dewabrata , rainbowdash4l@rainbowdash4l , sgbonus@sgbonus , okarun@okarun , flummi97@flummi97 and hive-world@hive-world !

Great White Shark

oceana.org

This giant predator of the deep often evokes fear when seen in person. In reality they generally aren't interesting in humans and tend to just swim on by as they pass through. I've never seen one is person sadly, but their sheer size would probably be disconcerting to say the least. They are a protected species worldwide and are finally starting to see their numbers grow after over fishing left them on the endangered species list. Thanks for the great choice by lumpiadobo@lumpiadobo , silvertop@silvertop , vaynard86@vaynard86 !

Seahorse

wallsdesk.com

These cute little creatures have over 46 different species around the world. They are extremely poor swimmers and will often be seen with their tail wrapped around an anchoring object. I've always love seeing them over the years while diving and snorkeling. They can be very colorful and beautiful fish! Thanks for picking this one to whywhy@whywhy , servelle@servelle and olaf.gui@olaf.gui !

image.png

Manatee

pnj.com

The next most chosen was the manatee. The gentle giants are often found in shallow waters and rivers emptying into the ocean and are herbivores. They were endangered for quite some time as they were losing habitat and were frequently killed by boat propeller blades. Now zones with the creatures have strict speed limits to avoid harming them. Thanks for an awesome pick by uni-coin@uni-coin and melinda010100@melinda010100 !

image.png

Starfish

facts.net

There are around 1,900 different species of starfish around there world. They live in tropical waters all the way to polar regions. Some prefer shallower reefs to some that dwell in the depths of the sea bed. They usually have five arms and can be extremely colorful. Thanks for a great pick by cositav@cositav and longganisan@longganisan !

Orca

animalfactguide.com

This large mammal is the true predatory king of the ocean. They even hunt great white sharks and live and hunt as family groups. At one time they were kept captivity at Sea World and even had shows for audiences, but now they are returning the ones that can to the sea. They were known on occasion to kill their trainers so not always a friendly creature. Off of the straights of Gibraltar there is a pod that has picked up the habit of sinking smaller boats. No one knows why but several rescues have taken place to save people from their sinking vessels as the orcas attacked it.

Thanks for the great pick by angeluxx@angeluxx and gatet@gatet !

Whale Shark

ar.inspiredpencil.com

These giant creatures are very slow swimming filter feeders. The largest one ever recorded was 61.7 feet (18.8 m) in length and is the largest known fish species. They are endangered due to overfishing and protected throughout most of the world. I have always wanted to see one in person but have never been lucky enough as of yet. Thanks for a great choice by beelzael@beelzael and hatdogsensei@hatdogsensei !

Snapping Shrimp

universalaquatics.co.uk

While only receiving one vote, I think these guys are awesome. Also known as pistol shrimp they are the loudest creatures in the ocean. They have larger than normal claws that can make a snapping sound. When in large colonies the noise can interfere with ship's sonar they are so loud. It is believed that these shrimp are responsible for the most noise in the ocean, pretty interesting aren't they? Thanks gwajnberg@gwajnberg !

And some of the others choices I will leave in list form for times sake:

Narwhal uni-coin@uni-coin

Mermaid tengolotodo@tengolotodo

Now for today's entry question...

What is your favorite kind of dinosaur?

The Giveaway

I will be giving out one prize of five (5) HSBI. Second and Third prizes will be 1.5 DUO tokens, the token I recently launched with bulliontools@bulliontools and bitcoinman@bitcoinman . It offers those who stake sufficient tokens daily curation on quality posts, dividends, and a tipping bot. It also helps to onboard and retain new Hive members. At the end of the post there is a link to the white paper and where to purchase the tokens. Fourth prize is 100 BBH tokens. Fifth prize will be 250 CCD tokens. To participate you need a reputation level of at least 25 and bots cannot win. And please one entry per person to make it fair to everyone.

I currently have sponsors who also kick in some HSBI units to the second, third, fourth, and fifth regular spin winners. None on the bonus spins. The sponsors can still enter the giveaway, however, if they happen to win on one of the spins they sponsor I will re-spin the wheel for another winner. You can't sponsor HSBI units to yourself!

If you would like to be placed on a weekly reminder list just let me know and I'll make sure you get tagged each week.
