I visited a landscaping store that had some cool landscaping of its own 馃檪 A series of ponds. I'm sure there is some sort of water reclaimation/recycling going on here but I didn't ask.
Nice lily pond even on a cloudy day. People do add "water features" sometimes to their land in Vermont. I've always been puzzled as Vermont is covered with lakes and ponds and streams. Seems nature is doing ok on its own.
Another pond was more open with cattails and a weeping willow on the shore.
Again that cloudy sky.

Bigger shot of the cafe. Membership in the store includes a 10% discount at the cafe. I'm a member now and used that 10% discount on a yummy chocolate chip cookie. Also bought a few plants on an end of season sale. I like to buy perennials when they are marked down around this time of year. For a nice discount, I will wait until next year for blooms.
