The water in the pond gets very hot in the heat of the sun, so you have to check the water condition regularly. This afternoon, I went to the pond to see if everything is okay.
Despite it being afternoon, it was very hot today. There was no wind at all, due to which I was sweating and feeling restless after looking around the pond. So I thought I would stand on the bank and take a rest. That's when the natural scenery around me caught my attention. In the sweet afternoon sun, the various plants and grasses on the pond bank were casting beautiful dark reflection on the ground.
Those of you who live in the village know that there are many wild grasses and creepers on the banks of the pond. When the afternoon light falls on the ground through the gaps in the trees, it is very beautiful to see.
I also noticed that the shadows of the grass and trees on the banks were not only falling on the ground, but also on the calm water of the pond. These reflection of the trees on the water looked like mirrors.
Seeing this calm scene around me, the pain of the heat eased a little. I immediately took out my mobile phone from my pocket. I remembered the Reflection Hunters competition on the Hive platform. I thought, I will capture these beautiful reflection on camera and share them with you.
There is nothing expensive or magnificent here. Just some very simple plants on the banks of the pond in our village, and the play of sun and reflection. If you don't take a little time to notice, you will not realize how much beauty is hidden in these simple things.
