Beautiful foggy Friday in Vermont. Great for a walk. It warmed up to the 30F's and the snow started sublimating to fog.
"To sublimate is to change the form, but not the essence"
or
“to cause to pass directly from the solid to the vapor state”
according to Merriam Webster dictionary.
However the process works it makes for some nice photos.
The crisp reality fades to the mystical beyond.
Some trees provide better silhouettes than others like this black walnut tree.
Or this leaning tree in a swampy area near my home.
These are also walnut trees planted (or maybe forgotten by squirrels 😉) along a decaying stone wall.
I took a short detour on my walk to check out this pond on the Leicester river. Nice fade into the fog and reflections but I think this photo works better with more light.
And back on the road home from my walk. Have a great Friday ✌
