Fall is coming quick. Still not full color but certainly some nice color out there.
Lots of slashes of color like this red. Not perfect but nice none the less.
Granite rock with moss under the leaf cover.
Lots of granite rocks, fallen trees and leaf cover this time of year. Its been dry the last week or so which is good for hikes. Hikes can be a bit treacherous this time of year when the leaves and rocks are wet and slippery.
But of course we are looking for color and to find that you have to look up.
Oranges, yellows and reds are coming.
Some areas are predominately yellow.
The forest is still in the shade but the sun is lighting the tree tops.
