It could have been the lighting; maybe it was how the sun was at this time of day, but it somehow illuminated this flower so that I could see multiple colours without being able to quite put my finger on it. There are elements of yellow, red, and orange here that all play off each other to create a look that is a bit tricky to expose. The shadows brought out the darker reds and some orange where as the light really brought out the yellows.
