I've been stressing these past few days and was especially tense today (see last post about a job interview), so was up nice and early to try and calm my mind. I had a fairly naff nights sleep.

The weather has been stunning these past few days and this morning was no exception. Lola and I did our usual 3.5 mile route to the beach and back.

The sea was beautifully calm and the tide was close to being high creating a lovely pool behind the man-made groyne. Lola tends to hate water but even she could resist a little paddle this morning.

There has been concerns the beaches around here would get overrun due to the nice weather, but I think today was the quietist I've seen it in quite some time. Saying that I was a little earlier than usual, but not by much.

No issues with social distancing here!

The absolutely highlight of my day was stumbling across this hermit crab; I've never seen an actual factual real life one before. It was alive but didn't seem to be doing much so I picked it up and put it in the water. Else I feared it would become a snack for the gulls.

It looks like the weather will be a mixture of warm, wet and windy but hopefully that won't stop Lola and I getting out on our adventures and discovering new and interesting stuff.
