English version

Pasta with ground beef sauce, or Bolognese, is a culinary classic, so whenever I get the chance, I make this recipe to treat myself and delight my guests. I love adding homemade tomato sauce to the dish, but this time, due to time constraints, I used store-bought sauce; I also added onions, bell peppers, and carrots. It’s a simple combination that’s full of flavor. I served it with short pasta and a generous sprinkling of white cheese to top off the dish.

Ingredients:

  • 400 grams ground beef
  • 2 onions
  • 4 bell peppers
  • 1 carrot
  • Tomato sauce
  • Pinch of salt
  • Butter
  • Hard cheese for grating
  • Oil

Preparation:

I washed the herbs and the carrot, removed the seeds from the bell peppers, and cut them into medium-sized pieces.

Next, I peeled the onions and cut them into large chunks.

Next, I peeled the carrots and chopped them, keeping the pieces roughly the same size.

Then, I heated a skillet with a splash of oil, added the herbs, sautéed them for a bit, and added the carrots and ground beef, stirring to combine all the ingredients. I covered the pan to speed up the cooking process.

At the same time, I put a pot with two liters of water and a pinch of salt on the stove. When it came to a boil, I added half a kilo of short pasta—in this case, Dedalitos—stirred it, and covered the pot. It was ready in about ten minutes. I really like this pasta because it goes a long way.

Both the sauce and the pasta were ready at the same time. I drained the pasta and added a pat of butter, then served a portion on each plate and topped it with the sauce. The next step was to grate a generous amount of white cheese and enjoy this delicious recipe.
