English version

Today's lunch was some delicious grilled ground beef burgers topped with onion, paprika, and bell peppers, along with some bread and carrots, both grated, for a very pleasant combination of flavors. I served it with white rice.

Ingredients:

  • 400 grams ground beef
  • 8 sweet peppers
  • 2 onions
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 loaf of bread
  • Pinch of seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil

Preparation:

I rinsed the peppers thoroughly with water and removed the seeds from both the sweet peppers and the bell peppers. Then I cut them into pieces and placed them in a skillet with a little oil, where I sautéed them. Once they had softened, I removed them from the heat and let them cool.

Meanwhile, I peeled the onions and the carrot. Then I grated them, and took the opportunity to do the same with the bread.

Next, I took the ground beef, kneaded it, and added the sautéed seasonings. I mixed everything well and immediately added the bread, onion, and carrot that I had grated earlier. I continued kneading, then added a pinch of salt and a dash of adobo seasoning.

Once everything was ready, I set up a griddle and oiled the surface, then cooked five thick, juicy patties of ground beef on it. I kept them over low heat so they would stay juicy.

At the same time, I filled a pot with three cups of water and a pinch of salt. When it came to a boil, I added the cup of rice and lowered the heat. It was ready in just a few minutes. The next step was to plate the dish: I placed the rice on the bottom and the meat on top—a spectacular combination.
