Basically he stored cooking apples from our trees since last fall and he bakes with them every so often. This time he peeled and sliced the apples into the baking tray, and added sugar and the crumble on top before baking until golden brown.
The crumble is a mixture of butter flour and brown sugar as far as I know and it really turns out delicious.
Wish I could go home and taste it!
