I love this dish, it has a wonderful aroma, a spicy flavor, and the noodles are chewy when you eat them. It’s very easy to make just prepare the curry sauce, fry the nori, prepare the udon noodle then add all the toppings, and you’re done. This time, I made the crispy nori myself. Okay, let’s get right to it.
Ingredients:
- 1 package of udon noodles
- 1/4 onion
- 1/4 packet of bouillon powder
- 1 block of curry paste
- 150 ml water
- 1 hard-boiled egg
- 1 scallion
- 5 caplak chili peppers
- 1 sheet of nori
- all-purpose seasoning
- water
- cooking oil
Instructions:
- Prepare 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- Add water until it forms a wet batter
- Dip the nori into the batter
Fry the nori in hot oil and cook over low heat
Remove and drain
- Bring the water to a boil
Add the udon and boil for 5 minutes
Remove and drain
- Heat a little cooking oil
- Sauté the diced onion until fragrant
- Add water
- Add the bouillon powder
- Once it comes to a boil, add the curry block
Cook until thickened
Turn off the heat and set aside
- Prepare sliced green onions and caplak chili peppers
- Place the udon in a bowl
- Pour the curry sauce over it
- Top with the green onions, caplak chili peppers, egg, and crispy nori
- Spicy Curry Udon is ready to eat
