If I usually make pancakes from bananas or dragon fruit, this time I'm going to try making them from potatoes. As we know, potatoes have a very soft texture, so when processed into anything, I'm sure it will never fail and will even make the dish more delicious.
Potato pancakes are one of the most delicious potato dishes in my opinion, especially with melted chocolate filling that gives a strong chocolate sensation in the pancakes. This dish was actually inspired by one of the potato dishes on social media that many influencers have made. However, once again, they made it non-vegan, so I came up with the idea of making vegan potato pancakes with vegan chocolate topping.
These potato pancakes have an authentic flavor that is simple but will make you want to try this recipe again. The melted chocolate layer inside the pancakes makes them even more authentic, in my opinion. These pancakes will definitely be a favorite snack for your kids because of the chocolate filling.
200 grams of potatoes
75 grams of all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon of butter
1 tablespoon of granulated sugar
¼ teaspoon of salt
As needed chocolate spread
Boil the potatoes until soft, then mash them with a fork until smooth.
Once the potatoes are soft, add salt and sugar, then add the flour.
Mix the flour until it forms a dough or until it is smooth and does not stick to your hands.
Then flatten it, add chocolate spread inside, and flatten it again into a circle.
Bake with margarine for about 15 minutes over low heat, flipping it until it turns golden brown.
Potato pancake with chocolate filling are ready to serve. I serve them warm to enjoy during dinner with my husband. We enjoy them with a glass of fresh dragon fruit juice without ice. The taste is indeed very sweet and chocolatey, but most importantly, the texture is incredibly soft. I really love this combination.
Just look at how fragrant it smells when cooked, and how perfectly sweet it is. I really like this combination. The potatoes seem to disappear in the batter, even though there are more potatoes than other ingredients. However, the chocolate flavor makes it even more delicious and masks the minimal potato taste in the pancake dish.
Well, for those of you who are confused about how to cook potatoes, I think this will be the best solution for you to serve at home for your large family.
