You’ve probably made all kinds of banana dishes at home many times. I’m one of those people who often turns bananas into snacks, desserts, and even soups and stews. Anything can be turned into a delicious, satisfying meal with bananas.
A simple dish you’ve never made before is sure to be an unusual source of inspiration when you try your hand at it. This time, a simple dessert will inspire your cooking in the kitchen. It’s perfect for your kids who love chocolate.
Banana pudding isn’t anything new in my kitchen. I’ve made it before, but of course, it’s very different from the banana pudding recipe I’m preparing today. This time, I’m making banana pudding with a simple recipe—a super-chocolatey version that makes the dish even more delicious. The combination of bananas and chocolate batter makes everything incredibly tasty—who would have thought that an ordinary pudding could turn into such a delightful treat?
1 packet of jelly powder
3 bananas
3 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk
1 tablespoon cocoa powder
3 tablespoons granulated sugar
Vanilla powder to taste
900 ml coonut milk
Mash the bananas until smooth, or if you prefer a chunkier texture, you can do it by hand—that’s what I did here.
Next, in a saucepan, add coconut milk (which can be substituted with milk), then add granulated sugar and a pinch of salt.
Then add sweet chocolate powder and vanilla powder, and stir until well combined.
After stirring, cook the pudding—don’t forget to add the jelly powder. I almost forgot to add it, so just turn off the stove and stir it right in the pot.
Cook it and then, once it’s halfway cooked, add the mashed bananas.
Cook until fully set and thickened, bringing it to a boil several times. Then pour into your favorite mold, let it cool and set, and store it in the refrigerator.
Once the pudding set, I immediately cut it into pieces. The texture of this jelly is indeed a little different from the Nutrijel brand I usually use. It’s firmer because I added a fair amount of banana, but I like it. The Raja banana’s sweetness really comes through, along with its distinctive aroma. Raja bananas really are that delicious when made into desserts.
The chocolate and sweetness are perfectly balanced in this pudding, making it an ideal dessert to enhance your dining experience. Plus, this pudding can also be served as a sweet dessert and stored in the refrigerator, as it will definitely be even more
