Hello community! It is a pleasure for me to present you my most recent fanart inspired by our little friend Zingu.
¡Hola comunidad! Es un gusto para mi presentarles mi más reciente fanart inspirado en nuestro amiguito Zingu.
I made the Zingu illustration using my smartphone, in one of my favorite drawing applications called Ibis Paint X, therefore it is a digital illustration.
La ilustración de Zingu la hice usando mi smartphone, en una de mis aplicaciones de dibujo favorita llamada Ibis Paint X, por lo tanto es una ilustración digital.
Process | Proceso
Initially I start with the creation of a sketch, which consists of a penguin, to which I added the characteristics of the original penguin, in addition to adding a scarf and a hat.
Inicialmente parto con la creación de un boceto, el cual consta de un pinguino, al que le añadí las caracteristicas del pinguino original, además de agregarle una bufanda y un gorro.
From here the coloring process begins, for which I apply a base color and in other layers I add the details of shading and lighting, all using the color palette of the original character.
A partir de aquí empieza el proceso de coloreado, para lo que aplico un color base y en otras capas le añado los detalles del sombreado y la iluminación, todo esto usando la paleta de colores del personaje original.
It should be noted that the coloring was done in parts, first I started with the penguin's face and once all the coloring of the face was ready I continued with the coloring of the lower part of the body, leaving last the coloring of the hat and scarf.
Cabe destacar que el coloreado fué hecho por partes, primero comencé con el rostro del pinguino y una vez listo todo el coloreado del rostro continué con el coloreado de la parte inferior del cuerpo, dejando de ultimo el coloreado del gorro y la bufanda.
All that was left was to create a background for the illustration, so I decided to make some mountains and trees covered in snow.
Solo restaba crearle un fondo a la ilustración, asi que decidi hacer unas montañas y unos arboles cubiertos de nieve.
