I’d like to share with you the process of making Cinella out of modeling clay. This afternoon, I was playing with my son and made this character from the Holozing community that I love so much. It didn’t turn out exactly the same, but I did my best
Materials I used:
- Black, red, and yellow modeling clay, plus a touch of white to match the color on the bottom part of Cinella
Step 1: I started by making the body. To do this, I took two pieces of red modeling clay—one larger than the other—and rounded them both. The smaller one goes in the front, and I flattened it with my fingers so that this piece would resemble the head, or rather, her face, since that’s where the eyes will go later.
Step 2: Next, take a small piece of black modeling clay, shape it, and attach it to the front, since this piece is also part of the character’s face. Then, make two round, yellow eyes and place them right in the center.
Step 3: Next, take the little antennae and attach them to the top of its head. Then, continue shaping the part that goes on its body at the bottom, which includes its legs. To achieve a color similar to the real image, use white, yellow, and red; mix the two colors together to get a similar shade.
Step 4: Finally, in the fourth step, take some small pieces of black modeling clay and shape them into circles, which you’ll attach to the top of Cinella—similar to polka dots—thus completing your creation of the Holozing character “Cinella.”
This is the final result of the Cinella character, created with modeling clay.
