MAcFiT Season 8 Eliminations - Pre-Qualifiers

Good Day,

Season 7 is coming to an end, with Finals being played today and tomorrow. That means it's time to start Eliminations for Season 8. The whole process has been explained in an earlier post - pinned at the top of @MAcFiT community. This post is on the first phase of the Eliminations - Pre-Qualifiers.

Rules

Participants post their @actifit report cards during 4 days of the pre-qualifiers (this coming weekend: Friday, April 29 thru Monday, May 2). To be counted in, at least 2 reports during the four days must be posted.

The lowest score will be replaced by bonus points. Next, the three highest scores from [4 days of play; bonus] will be added up to form the final score.

Top 8 players will advance to Round 1 of Champions League qualifiers.

Next 16 will play in Round 1 of Consolation Cup qualifiers.

Bonuses

Players who

• have a @macfit rank or
• participated in @poliac, Edition 7 or
• participated in @poprzeczka, March Edition

will get a bonus.

The highest of the three will be taken as bonus and only if it benefits the participant.

Bonus values:

• Double points (rounded to integer) from @MAcFiT Ranking
• Final result of @poprzeczka (March edition)
• Final points from @poliac (7th edition), divided by the League number (1, 2 or 3)

In case of equal Total score, the order will be decided by

• the highest bonus
• the highest score of the 4 days of pre-qualifiers.

Note: Since there are two conditionally placed participants, they should take part in the pre-qualifiers as they normally would. Should the conditions be met, I will place them in the indicated stage and their scores from pre-qualifiers will not be taken into account.

What's Next

Top 8 players will join Round 1 of Champions League Qualifiers.

Next 16 players will form 8 pairs of Round 1 of Consolation Cup Eliminaitons.

(4 days; failing to provide at least two @actifit reports during the period will mean disqualification)

Round 1 of Eliminations

• Consolation Cup: Friday, May 6 AND Saturday, May 7
• Champions League: Sunday, May 8 AND Monday, May 9

Round 2 of Eliminations

• Consolation Cup: Friday, May 13 AND Saturday, May 14
• Champions League: Sunday, May 15 AND Monday, May 16

Main Season Kick-off

• Consolation Cup: Friday, May 20 AND Saturday, May 21
• Champions League (1st three matches of the group phase): Saturday, May 21 thru Monday, May 23
