Hello, how are you? It was my brother's birthday a few days ago, and he asked my mom to buy ingredients for the food we are going to cook. I asked her if we should make buko pandan jelly, the one I really crave again, and I am going to make it again for my mom's birthday next month.
Buko pandan jelly is one of my favorite desserts. Since I first tasted it years ago, I've requested it every time we have a celebration, until I got sick of it. So you should try it. The corn makes everything taste good.
Ingredients I Used:
Ingredients I Used:
- 12 cups of Water
- 2 Pack of Flavored Jelly Powder
- Buko Panda Flavor Essence
- Sugar
- All Purpose Cream
- Condense Milk
- Whole Kernel Corn
Let's Cook!
Let's Cook!
In a pot, I added 5-6 cups of water and add the two pack of pandan jelly and mix everything until well combined
Add 1/4 cup of sugar or if you wanted it more sweeter you can add more.
Add a few drops of buko pandan flavor and I wanted more flavor to it so I added more
Mix everything until well combined. And make sure to do it while the water is room temperature.
Turn on the stove and wait for the it to boil. And tranfer it into a steel pan a cool it off that way it can harden and it will turn solid for about an hour if your in rush just pop it inside the freezer.
Now that the jelly has solidified, I am going to use this coconut scraper and scrape everything using it. You can cut in blocks, but I prefer it this way.
I add two all-purpose creams and mix.
Then I added a can of condensed milk, adding until your preferred sweetness.
After that, add a can of whole corn kernels along with the water inside it.
Mix everything.
Transfer it into a container and pop it into the freezer for a few hours.
I like to eat it very, very cold, to the point that it turns into ice cream. Happy eating!
Thank you for visiting, see you on my next blog. :D
