Hello friends,

Green, red, and yellow lentils are the flavors that we frequently host in our kitchens and that we love in all forms, from soup to meatballs; however, a new flavor has recently been added to these lentils, and beluga lentils, also known as black lentils, have become very popular, especially nowadays.

Although we have only lately been aware of its existence, black lentils have a long history dating back to before Christ. Black lentils, which were first farmed in Anatolia around 8,000 years ago, gained popularity in America in the early 1900s when they became a commercial crop.
