Hello namaste
How are you all? I hope you're doing well.
During winters, consuming sesame seeds is good for health because of their warming effect. Both black and white sesame seeds are beneficial for the body. To stay warm and gain health benefits, we often consume various sesame-based items. Sesame seeds are rich in nutrients, and making laddoos (sweet balls) with black sesame seeds can be tasty and beneficial for health.

Black sesame seeds contain zinc, iron, vitamin B6, vitamin E, and selenium. When combined with jaggery, the benefits are doubled. Jaggery is rich in calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, potassium, folic acid, and iron. Both these ingredients play a significant role in keeping you fit during the cold season.

Ingredients.

  • 250 grams black sesame seeds
  • 200 grams jaggery
  • 1/2 cup water

Method

  1. Roast the sesame seeds in a pan until they are well-browned.

  2. Remove the sesame seeds from the pan.

  1. In the same pan, add water and jaggery. Stir continuously until the mixture forms white bubbles. At this point, add the roasted sesame seeds.

  1. Turn off the heat and shape the mixture into small laddoos.

There you have it my black sesame laddoos are ready I ground the sesame seeds in a mixer and made a paste. You can also make them into laddoos. My grandmother likes these laddoos, so I ground them. I hope you liked my recipe.
