Hey, Steemians! What your favorite veggie that always there in your fridge? Commonly, we always have carrot, potato and broccoli. In Aceh potato and corn belong to vegetables because we don't eat them as staple foods. So, this time some of those veggies are on my dining table to be a lunch veggie dish plus quail egg. 鈽猴笍鈽猴笍

We call this Capcay, I think the name come from Thai. The ingredients of Capcay is commonly same with our vegetables soup. I usually make the soup because my kids love to slurp the stew.

However, Capcay is my favorite so this time I answer my own request. 馃榾馃榾

Ingredients:

  • Eggs
  • Carrot
  • Broccoli
  • Cauli flower
  • Spring union
  • Celery
  • Salt
  • 30 ml water

Spice

  • Candles nuts
  • Shallot
  • Garlic
  • Ginger
  • Tomato (optional)
  • Pepper
  • Turmeric

Instructions:

  1. Boil the eggs.
  2. Wash and chop the vegetables.
  3. Grind the spice.
  4. Fry the spice until oily
  5. Add in the veggetables except broccoli.
  6. Add in water, stir and close for a while.
  7. Add in broccoli and sprinkle salt.
  8. Add in eggs.
  9. Serve.

Now you need a bowl of warm rice!
