Tonificamos y ganamos masa muscular
Espalda recta. Nos ponemos cómodos.
Luego, jalamos hacia adelante.

The upper body is made up of several muscle groups that are located precisely in the upper part of our body. Among these muscle groups we find the following:
Each of these groups is, in turn, made up of several muscles, i.e., in the case of the arms, there are the biceps and triceps muscles.
There is a very common paradigm among women about the idea of strengthening this area of the body, but women should not be afraid to train the upper body. Doing so doesn't mean we'll look like men 😂. On the contrary, we will look toned and get the following benefits :
When training it is important to know exactly which muscle group we are going to work with so that we can focus on each muscle in a particular way because each of them fulfills an important function and must be strengthened. The routine also depends on this.
So my dear Hivers, today I bring you a routine dedicated to the upper body. I know that men will love it.
We'll start with a warm-up on a bike, then we'll activate the arms and shoulders with an elastic band, to finally get into the main exercises. At first, we will work the biceps, triceps, and back muscles with weights. Then we will work on two abdominal exercises and culminate with jump ropes. It's a workout to burn a lot of calories 😈.
Remember to warm up before doing any physical activity.
Pedal for 15 minutes on a bike. Exert yourself on the speed!
These 15 minutes have to be effective.
Arms separation
Standing with back straight. Feet apart no more than shoulder-width apart. Raise your arms above your head.
Holding the posture, make tension in the band. Stretch. Contract the abdomen.
When finished, bring your arms in front of you while maintaining the posture.
Tighten the bands again and contract the abdomen.
You should do four sets of 20 repetitions for each exercise with a 10-second rest between sets.
The weight you are going to lift is going to depend on the resistance you have. At first, it is advisable to work with the weight of the machine, without additional weights.
Then, start trying with the weight you feel most comfortable with.
Always keep your back straight.
Keep your knees semi-flexed to avoid stressing your joints and possible injury.
Do not exceed the weight, you can get injured, and if you need help go to the trainer.
You should do four sets of 20 repetitions with a 10-second rest between sets on all exercises.
Tonify and gain muscle mass
Stand in front of the pulley with your back straight. Feet apart no more than shoulder-width apart. Grab the handle of the pulley and let your arms down.
Squeeze hard and flex the forearms only. All the strength should be felt in the biceps. This is one repetition.
Excellent for strengthening biceps and shoulders.
Sitting on the machine we take the bar. The arms should be at shoulder level.
Pull the bar until it reaches chest level. Contract the abdomen. This is one repetition.
Excellent for gaining muscle mass and toning
Standing with back straight. Feet apart no more than shoulder-width apart. Dumbbells at the sides of the body.
We bend only the forearms, bringing them to chest level. This is one repetition.
Excellent for strengthening back muscles
Back squat towards the machine. We take the bar. Arms should go beyond shoulder width, but not that far.
Bend your arms, bringing the bar behind your neck. This is one repetition.
Helps us strengthen our back muscles
Sitting with your back straight. We take the pulley support and lean the body a little forward.
We pull, bringing the pulley support to our abdomen. We must keep our backs straight. Do the rowing simulation. This is one repetition.
Important: The knees must be semi-flexed to avoid injury.
Excellent for toning triceps and getting rid of those famous bat wings 😂.
Standing on your back on the machine. We take the support. The arms should go to the sides of the head, bent at 90 degrees. We take a step forward. Back straight. We get comfortable.
Then, we pull forward. We only move our forearms. Always contract the abdomen. We return to the initial position. This is one repetition.
Another great way to tone triceps and remove arm flab
Standing with your back straight. Feet shoulder-width apart. Legs semi bent. Pick up the bar. We place the arms at 90 degrees.
Then, we bend only the forearms downwards. We contract the abdomen.
Excellent for strengthening the ABS (Abdominals)
Lying face up on the mat. Arms above head and legs extended.
With the help of the arms, we raise the trunk and bend one leg at the same time. Contract the abdomen.
Return to the initial position.
Repeat the exercise with the other leg. This is one repetition.
Lying face up on the mat. Arms above head and legs extended.
Bring the arms in front of the face.
We raise one leg simulating the shape of scissors. The other leg is down but does not touch the floor.
Keeping the position, we lower the leg that is up and raise the other one. This is one repetition
Beginners: do 80 ropes 20 at a time with a 10-second rest between reps.
Advanced: do 400 ropes of 100 at a time with a 10-second rest between repetitions.
