Okay, I did not hit my step goal today but hear me out. I have a totally legit excuse.
So the first thing to know is that I worked ALL day. I often get quite a few steps at work just running to meetings, and I often add on a walk after work. Neither of those things happened today. Instead, I was locked onto a project at my desk, and I could not take a walk after work because I went to book club.
But I did take a walking tour of my friend’s swanky downtown condo. So I’ll share pictures of what we saw while walking around.

Here’s the party room.
It has a fireplace! It was chilly enough that it would have been nice to have it on.

After our book club discussion we stood out on the patio and enjoyed the twilight falling over the city.
Oh! Also I shared the newly published @SteemFiction book, Dead Silence, with my book club friends, and they were duly impressed. Several of them plan to order the book.
