It is truly silly how often I earn a whole BUNCH of steps and I’m just too tired to post about it at the end of the day.
In fact, I ritually start a post and then fall asleep while writing it. That’s life in the fast-lane, for you!
I became “semi-retired” three months ago, and have been just as busy ever since. Of course, I’ve traveled more, played pickleball more and have finished writing the book I was working on for the past two years, so I guess that’s a pretty good excuse. Plus I play with my granddaughter every chance I get!
I’m very excited about this new book. It’s titled The Whimden Chronicles, and it’s a collection of short stories that all take place in this little college town.
ANYway, how I got my steps today was by playing pickleball at my Thursday night league. So much fun! These are ladies who are ever friendly and supportive and we have a blast.
Here’s a recent photo so there’s something to accompany this blog! It’s a picture I took last weekend on the way home from a writing retreat weekend.
