Today is a key day - October 1 and the start of my 14 the year of the Great Cycle Challenge for Kids Cancer. That means get out on the bicycle and ride for the kids. Chart shows the legacy of the last

Today was a great day for steps! My daughter, granddaughter and I did a big Costco run because I was running out of everything and hadn’t stocked up on stuff for a while, I couldn’t believe how bust the

It's a pickleball day - photo from the walk to the station Pickleball was a slow start affair - not the best night's rest made for a weary brain. Took a while to get used to the different court after a

It's a pickleball ball day - my wife seemed to be settled enough to rest without me around. She has a doctor appointment tomorrow. Still got a thumping headache One photo on the way to the station - lily

It is truly silly how often I earn a whole BUNCH of steps and I’m just too tired to post about it at the end of the day. In fact, I ritually start a post and then fall asleep while writing it. That’s life

It's a pickleball day. Did remember to take some photos on the way to the station - clivea heralds spring. A warmer day than yesterday Also a sign of spring- gardenia flowering outside the sports centre.

It's a pickleball day - played a different venue to the last few weeks. Played Frenchs Forest before - close to where we first lived in Sydney and where my children first went to school. A more gentle

It is a pickleball day - you know what that brings - a heap of steps and not a lot of photos. After the big downhill walk yesterday was really concerned my right knee would not hold up. Was bothering me

A new week. Working into new patterns - twice a week to play pickleball. One day to play and one day for drills and play. Today is a play day. Had players a bit up in standard compared to last week - lifts

Early start to head off for a pickelball drills and play session. We spent an hour on a drill of hit and charge the net. Did get in the way in the play session. Was charging in directly after serving.

Not the best of nights. Cleaners were supposed to be here at 8:30 - did not happen. With an 11:15 pickleball session there was plenty of time to be on time - did not work that way after finding no cleaners

Got to say I like waking up in our Shoalhaven Heads house. Do not have the sliding doors and windows to wake me up every 10 minutes from 5am. Feel kind of rested after a late night for US markets open.

A new week. Trying again to play pickleball Sydney side in the club I chose to join. 5 times played and 3 times came across players more keen to tell me what to do than play. Hopefully not this time -

My wife has some art stuff do on her day off. Gives me a window to go to pickleball. Chose a drills and play session to start working to the next level - tactics. Have learned that pickleball days are

You cannot believe how nice it is to wake up before the sun rises without being woken up by the 5am toilet flush upstairs and the periodic slamming of the sliding doors and windows. Been nearly 3 years
