An important day lining up - heading into Berry for my granddaughter's christening. First stop TKMaxx to buy a gift or two. Standard go to are clothes. Got two summery dresses - one for each of the girls. Always works to give them a gift each

Nice garden in front of St Patrick's Church under a big brush box tree. Waited for go time. Scarlett was in play mode
Start time came. A small gathering. 3 out of 4 grandparents only plus a god parent, two parents and the two gilrs. The 4th one got stuck in traffic coming into Berry. The Hot Summer Tour is on for the day and then is buzzing. Nana was very upset about being 30 minutes late

Violette was quiet. Not unhappy with the soaking of the water over her head. She loves water. Was not happy with the Chrism oil anointing. It is a scented oil and probably tingled her scalp.
With a 1230 lunch appointment we had time to spare under the brush box in the cool.

Lunch worked well. I sourced the crayons and paper to colour in while we waited. Scarlett and Michael did a good job while we waited.
Was good to do a family thing. The next one will not be low key as my other two children will be joining in for Scarlett's birthday in two weeks time
Had enough time to get back to Shoalhaven Heads to join the Saturday pickleball games. Was a windy afternoon - took some time to adjust to that. Played OK once I got on top of that. Good to get back to playing with the people I started with
Did get on the bicycle - to ride to pickleball. One more ride for Kids Cancer.
