There is a subtle, precise, forceful, real lesson that has accompanied me and made me reflect since I learned it, all my life.
When this happened to me, something very difficult had just happened with a great friend, a woman mentor and guide of my philosophy of life, she, told me that someone who constantly traveled with her, was like her right hand, because she accompanied him everywhere, had taken money that did not belong to her. A short time later that person had a stroke.
A few months passed and I met her again, at a congress in Caracas, the capital of my country, Venezuela. She asked me to talk for a while, I remember that.going after I was going up in the elevator to her room she repeated this to me: "Don't talk, no.ask, don't say anything." I got to the door and knocked for her to open it, when she came in she looked me straight in the eyes, I also looked at her in silence, it was then with that calm that characterizes her, she told me: did you see that, what did Susanna do? (I'm putting a pseudonym on her, to call her somehow).
That day I learned that the consequences of everything we do are manifested "here and now". Because even if it is said that "God protects the innocent," we can also plan for the consequences of tomorrow. But for that it takes a lot of awareness and courage,... do you know why? Because it's like walking on fragile eggshells every day.
With certainty I can tell you that life can become more kind and loving, when we understand that it is ourselves who are working out those consequences.
I also know that there are those who took money and never showed up again. There are those who thought they took your job or your loves. But the important thing is not what they took but that we first understand what happened inside each one.
Limits are one thing, spirituality is another thing, and there is nothing wiser than spirituality with limits, and knowing where we are walking with firm feet treading on the ground and an awakened heart.
But I'm sure at that moment we are thinking about the money they owe us... Has it happened to you? I do, and I had to release it, to be more compassionate with myself, they are also responsible for the rest. Sometimes we will see that life asks us to "turn the page" when in fact they invite us to read it well before closing the book. To heal the old is not to live in the past, it is only to honor what was, understand its lessons and release as much as possible the energy that was trapped there.
The internal dialogue we have can heal or hurt us 馃槵
Let's learn to talk to each other with kindness, to listen to each other with patience and to give each other the place we deserve. Only the new can flourish without being burdened with diseased roots. When a woman knew she supports us, she forces us to grow.
