I’m just being nostalgic, thinking about life and the things around me, the good and the bad, the happiness and the sadness, the love and the hatred, the times of peace and the times of sorrow. All of these things have their other half. There is always a good and a bad side to something. It is just what it is. Life is good, and we have to live before we die. Whether we die now or later, we all have to die anyway. The only prayer is that we shouldn’t die young and shouldn’t die without fulfilling our purpose in life.
Life is complicated if you look at it closely. You would sometimes wish you had done something, and at another time, you would feel like what you had done shouldn’t have been done at all. Life is full of regrets and dreams that couldn’t be achieved. In this one life of ours, we just have to do what it takes to live right and never hold grudges for too long.
You should know that those who claim they love us now may fall out of love with us. It is just a matter of time. Just because people profess their love for us doesn’t mean that it is going to be permanent anyway.
I remember that I confided in someone for a greater good because she was helpful when I started the process, but you wouldn’t believe she was the first person to sabotage me when she wasn’t happy. She even said something terrible about what I was doing, hoping that it wouldn’t turn out well. It is sad, right? But we don’t have to take everything to heart. It is normal for people we once trusted to betray us and make us feel bad and worthless.
At times, when we are at zero, we think about things and question the purpose of our existence. We wonder if there will ever be a breakthrough and what that breakthrough would mean in the end. And the most humbling part of life is that even when we have everything figured out, make all the money we want, and attain the position we have always desired, we still seem not to be satisfied. At the same time, we realise that we are just chasing our own shadow.
I have seen people at the top of their careers who were still not fulfilled and ended up with a deadly sickness that almost consumed everything they had. It is just life, we will say.
No one knows what may become of them in a matter of seconds. We never get to decide everything that happens to us in life; we can only try. Hmm, are there forces controlling this world that we don’t know about? I don’t want to bring religion into this because I know there are things that support that claim. It is just what it is.
