Life is indeed fickle as they say. Today you’re here, tomorrow you’re just a passing memory. Sadly, that’s all that life will be for most of not all of us. We ate born filled with dreams bigger than us. But only a few of us are able to live long enough to achieve those dreams. And there’s those who are able to live long enough to even dream bigger or change their path.
The undeniable thing about life is that,regardless of who you are, whatever background you come from and whatever you think you have, you will leave this earth just like you came into it. So I’m left asking myself, what really is the essence of life? Is it to come and work your ass off only to die at the end of it all? At the end of the day, I believe some of these lessons are best left unanswered because life happened differently for us all.
We are all brought forth into this earth for so many reason. We all have a destiny to fulfill with our without our knowledge and I’d like to believe that every turn in our lives prepares us for what we are meant for and once we are done with our work here on earth, we return back to our creator. Today, a colleague of mine said God kills people and I told them that God doesn’t kill us, he just takes back what’s his in his best time.
We all don’t know when we will leave this earth but we all hope and pray to leave when we have achieved all that we wish for and leave a legacy behind for ourselves and our generations to come. We have lost people very dear to us in times we never thought they will leave us. Sometimes we get mad at God and even the dead person but life is what it is. There’s an extent to what we can control.
Someone once asked me why they must save so much money when they can die at any moment and not get to enjoy that money. I asked them that what if you don’t die tomorrow or the day after if 50 years after? Would you what to look back and see how much you have wasted your life just because you would die today or tomorrow. Life isn’t always about making money abs spending it. It’s about impacting people and changing lives while building a good life for yourself. It’s not worth bothering about things we can’t control it know nothing about. Just do you and what makes you happy.
Life isn’t really a big deal. Live your life, be happy, achieve your goals, support others, be kind and he ready to leave this earth whenever God comes calling for what is his because we are living ok borrowed time on this earth. And this is life!
