Life is as fickle as it comes. You grow up planning your life in the best way you can imagine and all of a sudden something happens which ruins or your plans to hardwork of so many years. That’s how life is, very unpredictable. But this doesn’t mean we have to give up on our goals and dreams just because something went wrong for us.

Life is meant to be good on some days and bad on some days. No one has a perfect life and as it stands now I’m sure have all experienced and come to terms with that. Some of us are lucky enough to pick ourselves up after a big loss while others are not that lucky as they struggle so much to get back up but at the end of the day, we all want to win and we will. The only thing is that everyone’s time is different. Life isn’t a race.

Anyone of us can be down bad that we may need help from our family, friends or even strangers if things get out of hand. I’ve seen various flyers and gofundme’s around seeking support for people in need of help and by Gods grace, we all came together from wherever we are with whatever little we have to contribute to help someone we don’t even know. This is humanity if you ask me.

Someone somewhere might be wondering or thinking these flyers in need of funds to help others might be scam. Really, it might be a scam and it’s okay for that to cross your mind once in awhile given the world we find ourselves in today. But that shouldn’t stop you from doing something good for someone. There will always be bad people out there and so are there good people out there. You can stop be the good person that you are and help others. What matters is your intention and not whether whatever is going on is real or a scam. Most of these cases are likely to be scams and the same way most of them are also likely to be legit and in need of help. I have seen people do away with huge sums of money after getting so many people to come together to contribute towards a single cause. It has happened to many times which has caused people to lose hope in such system. But among 10 of these groups, we sure to have at least a few of them being legit.

Crowd funding has really helped so many people and I have seen people benefit from it first hand. Today it may be them but it may be you or I someday. Recently, I have seen that these associations and platform have put measures in place to promote transparency and for people to know where their money is going and what is being used for. That way we all get to see the good things our monies are being used for while being motivated to help more people.
