This is one of the questions that seems like a really easy one to answer, because it's very easy to start by talking about all the things you intend to achieve in life, your dreams and what existence means to you, but if you calm down to think about it deeply you will realize it more complicated than just talking, because after fulfilling those purpose, you begin to ask yourself what's next ?
We all wake up daily, go to work, face our responsibilities and go about the same routine just to fulfill our purpose, dreams and one day life could be taken away too. This is the reason I keep asking myself why are we even existing, because we could live chasing purpose, and one day we no longer exist and even after fulfilling those purposes we don't know what's coming next.
I keep asking myself questions like, is life simply about working, surviving, chasing purpose and then dying after all of this, or even die while chasing this purpose? There's something deeper we really don't know about our existence on earth, than just chasing our purpose. We chase money, purpose and our dreams and, at the end, death keeps reminding us that we are just passengers and the world isn't ours.
What's life without purpose and survival? They are both important parts of life regardless, we don't just survive, but also need money for survival, money to provide food, pay rent, medical support, comfort and many reasons , that's why we all chase financial stability at the end of the day. Our purpose revolves around financial stability, because without money we can't actualize our purpose. We are in a world where money is essential for us to live a purposeful life, a world where money is essential for survival and existence, but I don't believe money should be the entire reason or purpose of existence.
I believe we should live this life beyond just chasing financial goals, but also live to create impact with what we have obtained.
Purpose to me, doesn't stop at becoming the best version of ourselves, but living a meaningful life that will impact others, building meaningful relationships with others and having a positive impact that we will be reminded of in life. Our purpose could be something as simple as supporting family, being present for others, making someone's difficulty easy and achievable. Using our resources to help and care for others and not just ourselves.
Also, our life purposes change as we grow, it change at different ages, stages and levels in life. They are times when we just have to focus on family, healing, simply finding ourselves and learning.
And there are days we feel really discouraged to keep chasing, fighting, and what we do is just to continue. Days when waking up and refusing to give up is enough. We should see each day as an opportunity to make others smile.
The money we earn should help us create a life that is meaningful. Instead of becoming the only reason we live , it shouldn't be the center of our life . We work and earn money so we can survive, but hopefully we should also work so we can experience, create, love, grow, and give.
There isn't a universal answer to the question of life's purpose, because we all have our own personal answers. Individually , we must discover our own answers through experiences and choices. But personally, I believe that life is more than just waking up daily, working, paying bills, and sleeping, It is about finding reasons to be grateful for being alive and using the time we have to make our existence meaningful and also make the existence of those around us meaningful too.
