It's mid-week once again and it reminded me of a walk one morning last week. Look! Someone threw away a cabbage head! It must be from one of the farms around.

Looking up, the sun is already peeking through the trees in the forest.

I then took the less-paved path along a small farm planted with broccoli. Maybe, a month from now, these would be bigger, leafy and bluish. I wouldn't know for sure but I'll have to go for another walk to check on them.

And they got citrus trees down there too. It's getting pretty common here. I guess people are learning how to get their own supply of fruits. They grow their own.

It felt I was in a real jungle looking at this tree. It must be very old and I can only see its top branches. I was rather scared to look down.

Anyhow, I went on and followed the path leading to the water source of irrigation for the farms down the valley.

Lots of water hose going down. This was where the husband's phone fell and got damaged earlier this year while he was checking one of the hoses that entangled ours.

The spilling water from the stonewall made it look like there was a mini-waterfalls down there.

There was supposed to be a tank built here to collect water so when summer comes, it can at least supply most farms just above the main streets. Unfortunately, the contractor did a lousy job and the place is left with two posts and a funny concrete wall on the side (missed to photograph it).

Anyhow, I walked farther until I reached the dirt road. It's been a while since I was there.

I was reminded of the couple sheep goat Leila and Scott. I first met them on my walk 5 months ago. But last week, they were nowhere in sight. The owner may have sold them already.

So I just kept on, lost in thoughts until I got myself surprised when I saw this place. I have walked too far so I turned around and found my way back home. That was the longest stroll I've had in months!

The weather was nice and I was on my slippers and socks at that time and wasn't even bothered.

Thank you lots and Cheers to you today and every day!
