Waking up to a fantastic hump day in DD. I didn't realize we had been in BC for almost a week (6 days and nights). Yongi and I were enjoying our stay, but then the hubby came and picked us up yesterday evening, saying he misses us even when we talk every day.

So yep, we're back to our lil bodega and to the view of polytunnels (greenhouses), forested ridges, and the sound of the gushing stream in the distance😉

And it seems we (I) need a day to adjust to a routine that feels new when it was normal over a week ago. The body mind sometimes exaggerates when changes occur, especially sudden ones.😁

So yeah, we're having a slower Wednesday to find our rhythm and for our brains to recalibrate. Some transition fatigue, huh?

But before we zoom out, let's get to our SlothlySavers midweek usuals updates first.

YE GoalCurrent BalanceLast WeekGrowth (+ / -)To Go

The sats numbers increased a bit, about half of last week's growth. We are 52.61% toward our year-end target. And with 16 weeks remaining, we believe the final number is achievable. That would mean an average of 3k sats a week. Very doable, progressing at a totally comfortable pace. But a bit of a growth challenge is nice too.

My week-long stay in BC and seeing my brother crush one goal after another made me realize I had been complacent in most of mine—getting so comfortable with what is, knowing we can do better, yet we chose not to push it anyway. Sometimes, a change of environment helps us view things differently.

So perhaps today is our perfect chance to do some internal auditing, tidy up the cobwebs of complacency, set our sights a notch or two, and decide what gets an upgrade.😊
