Hello, friends especially foodies!
Lately on Sunday before churching, I passed through a famous Singaporean skewers restaurant, named Old Chang Kee. Although it wasn’t snack time, but some customers were there before me to have skewers and even their drinks.
Yes, on the top middle of their banner, they showed menus of their drinks. For all time favorite with the price of 9,900 IDR or just 0.66 USD, you could choose among hot/iced brown sugar milk coffee, Americano, chocolate, café latte, blackcurrant, lemon tea, lychee tea or peach tea. While for the worldwide drinks with the price of 14,900 IDR or almost a USD, the choices were less, which you could choose among iced coffee chocolate, banana milk, green tea, café caramel or chocolate nutella.
For the skewers they had many kind of it and others fried side dishes. The skewers they had were their best seller golden fish ball, fish roll, seafood nugget cheese tofu, seafood roll, squid roll, salmon ball, mac & cheese bomb, cheese mandu, chikado, cheese tteokbokki, spicy chicken, fish ball, karaage, and fried shewmay. Beside them they also sold Korean chicken, even they have: churros, chicken mushroom pastel, pepper o pastel and honey chicken char siu.
After ordered, they would make your drink behind the cashier desk. Already some customers before me like I said. And although the place was small, it had a quite comfortable place to dine in so that some customers included me, had our skewer and drink there.
What I ordered was just their best seller golden fish ball skewer and iced chocolate.
For the iced chocolate, the taste was nice. It had the taste of the real chocolate drink plus had medium sweetness. For the golden fish ball skewer, it had tasty flavour of fish ball with salty and sweet flavour, the texture was crunchy chewy but soft. Both the drink and skewer were tasty.
No wonder they had many customers there!
