Wish you had a great day ahead ✨ During my recent day off I visited a small coffee shop in the city center, right across from a mall called Kopte Tarik. The place isn’t very big, but it’s cozy enough for breakfast and enjoying a cup of coffee or tea. I went there to meet up with a friend, we hadn’t seen each other in a long time and we had brunch there. The atmosphere was still calm and not too crowded. They offer several types of tea, coffee, and even hot chocolate.
The place is quite cozy with a minimalist and warm interior; I didn’t see any coffee machines here. They prepare coffee and tea the traditional way as the name suggests, they make “kopi tarik” ( pulled coffee ) and “teh tarik” ( pulled tea )by pouring the liquid back and forth between two cups.
It’s not just coffee, tea, and chocolate they also serve toast here. I ordered strawberry iced chocolate and kaya butter toast. The hot chocolate wasn’t too sweet and still had a hint of bitterness combined with the strawberry mixture which retained the fruit’s texture at the bottom it made for a delightful drink.
The kaya butter toast is my favorite toast here, the bread toasted until crispy, filled with kaya jam and butter in the middle. The aroma of the butter is incredibly fragrant, and every bite is a delight, kaya butter toast is always a safe bet for breakfast. Okay, that’s all for today, see you in my next story!
