Greetings, dear vegan community 馃挌
Today I'm sharing a recipe for those times when we want to snack on something delicious and healthy. It's also a great recipe to have as a starter at lunchtime. For example, I love eating it with crackers or toast while watching a romantic movie 馃槏 hehehe.
Today we'll make an eggplant p芒t茅 together. It's a delicious recipe, perfect for kitchen novices like me 馃榾 I promise you'll love it, plus the ingredients we'll use are very healthy and we usually have them at home.
Let's not waste any more time, let's make this recipe together! 馃槈
-1 1/2 large eggplants
-2 cloves of garlic
-1 handful of cilantro or parsley
-Approximately 5 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
-Juice of one lemon
-2 teaspoons of salt
-1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
-Crushed walnuts to taste
-1 berenjena y media de tama帽o grande.
-2 ajos.
-1 pu帽ado de cilantro o perejil.
-5 cucharadas aproximadas de aceite de oliva extra virgen.
-Jugo de un lim贸n.
-2 cucharaditas de sal.
-1/2 cucharadita de pimienta negra.
-nueces trituradas al gusto.
It's important to preheat the oven for about 20 minutes before making the recipe.
Es importante poner a precalentar el horno unos 20 minutos antes de hacer la receta.
Next, we'll cut the eggplants in half, make some crosswise cuts so they cook better, and season with a drizzle of olive oil, salt, and pepper to taste.
We put it in the oven which is preheated to 180 degrees, we take it out when the eggplants are golden brown and their pulp is very soft.
Let it cool for a few minutes, remove the pulp from the eggplant, put the pulp in a blender or food processor and add all the other ingredients.
We start by adding the garlic, cilantro, and lemon juice.
We also add the olive oil, about 4 tablespoons or to your liking, and process until everything is well blended.
If you want, check the salt and pepper levels. In my case, I added a little more; in total, I used two teaspoons of salt and 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper. These amounts are to everyone's taste.
We've finished processing everything thoroughly, our p芒t茅 is ready! We serve it and add some finely crushed walnuts on top 馃憣 this last part is optional.
Perfect with crackers and toast! Enjoy! 馃槏
Dear friends, I hope you liked the recipe and are encouraged to prepare it at home 馃槉
