Oh, man, you guys this is a tough theme. @jasonrussell's Steemit Portrait Photography Contest Week 27 is looking for smiles. I have lots of pictures of people smiling... the trick is finding/taking shots

I painted this one for no particular reason. There isn't an interesting story behind it. Just- foxes are cute :) I love the way they jump into the snow, hunting for little critters. Now to go take my little

I'm finding all these amazing people to follow here on Steemit/Busy, and now I have so many people that I'm following, I'm having a hard time keeping up with trying to admire, encourage, and enjoy everyone's

Who wants to know how the latest flavours are doing?! We have two flavours being bottled today: Strawberry/Lime/Mint- dreamed up by @aweber and Skittles- an evil genius idea from @aussieninja If you're

I shot this for a local cosmetics company, ELATE Cosmetics. CLICK HERE to check them out. They are a cruelty-free, chemical-free, vegan, gluten-free, enviro-friendly packaged, wonderful, inclusive,

Oh, just another morning waking up with single-pane windows. But, condensation = diffusion. Pretty, isn't it? I like the blues. Categorycolourfulphotography CameraHTC One M9 LocationVictoria, Canada Do

This is my first time participating in @juliank's #vehiclephotography day. I am generally not a vehicle person. I don't get the general public's fascination with cars. Fast cars, pretty cars, loud cars,

Just incase anyone was interested in how my 'booch brew is doing! The orange flavour ferment went quite well. After 4 days sitting with the oranges in it, I transferred it to bottles, straining out the

I love painting splashy critters! At @aussieninja's suggestion, I tried playing with Australian wildlife for subjects. It was surprisingly hard! Maybe because although I have seen these creatures in film

This was a weird shoot. It was my first ever shoot in Victoria, shortly after moving here. I was in a very, very deep creative rut. I had barely touched my camera in months since moving. I wasn't working,

You guys, I barely touched Steemit (in my case, Busy.org) all weekend. We had @jkms visiting and I was just toooo busy to hunch over the computer at all. Now here I am trying to catch up with all my fave

For the Shadow Photo Contest theme "Straight Line Shadows" The only thing I miss about the crappy apartment this photo was taken in- the abundance of natural light. I loved to watch the shadows

I love that the theme for Round 26 of the Steemit Portrait Photography Contest is Male Portraits. It's about time! I took this shot of Kyle on a lovely summer day. His mother agency, DEJAVU Model Management,

People love Orcas. Or Killer Whales. Whatever you want to call them. I remember back in the 90s, whenever it was that Free Willy came out. All the kids in my class were obsessed with orcas. Orca shirts,

This was a weird experiment in shooting up-close. It's not true 1:1 macro but it's close enough. This was a long exposure in the dark, lit by a little handheld flashlight. I'm one of those people who struggles

I'm entering another #portraitcontest! The theme this time around is Male Portraits. I've got a few to share but I'll start with this one! I took this shot of @mstafford a few years ago, hence the short

The first time I had Kombucha it was a home brew. I was super in love with how crisp and subtly flavoured it was. Then I found out how great it is for your gut health! Wonder drink! So I now brew often.

Look at me, taking landscape-ish photos! Totally sticking a foot outside the comfort zone! @mstafford just a-creepin in the woods. It sure was dark in there. Categorylandscapephotography SettingsISO 6400

I've said it before, but whenever KEY Model Management asks me to test one of their people, I'm all over it! This time around they wanted some very simple headshots for Amanda. She was ready to go

This, my friends, is a Topaz Flowerhorn. I wish I knew more about it. Ah, maybe not. If that were true, all I would have to do is ask. My friend asked me to photograph this fish for him. He is a
