Po trudach podróży do Madrytu potrzebowaliśmy czegoś mniej wymagającego. Ponadto prognoza pogody na weekend w Walencji nie była pomyślna. Między innymi dlatego czekaliśmy z wizytą w L'Oceanogràfic do soboty.
[ENG] After the gruelling trip to Madrid, we needed something less demanding. Besides, the weather forecast for the weekend in Valencia was not very promising. This was one of the reasons why we waited until Saturday to visit L'Oceanogràfic.
Według informatorów turystycznych jest to największe oceanarium w Europie. Tak się składa, że kilka tytułujący się jako "największe" zdarzyło mi się odwiedzić. Pod względem powierzchni, ilości pawilonów i akwariów to jest zdecydowanie największe oceanarium w którym byłem. Jednak dużo większe wrażenie zrobiło na mnie oceanarium w Genui. Dziś czułem się jakbym był w Genui, bo zdecydowana większość odwiedzających to byli Włosi. Albo po prostu z racji tego, że jest to dość głośny naród i wszędzie słyszałem włoski język to takie odniosłem wrażenie.
[ENG] According to the tourist guides, this is the largest oceanarium in Europe. As luck would have it, I happened to visit several that were described as 'the largest'. In terms of surface area, number of pavilions and aquariums, this is by far the largest oceanarium I have been to. However, I was much more impressed by the one in Genoa. I felt like I was in Genoa today because the vast majority of visitors were Italian. Or simply because they are a very noisy nation and I heard the Italian language everywhere, that was the impression I got.
Wieczorem wykorzystaliśmy bezdeszczową pogodę na spacer do centrum miasta, to już ostatnie chwile żeby chłonąć pełna hiszpańskiego temperamentu atmosferę tego pięknego miasta.
[ENG] In the evening we took advantage of the rain-free weather to walk around the city centre, the last moments to soak up the full Spanish temperament of this beautiful city.
