Round two of alcohol ink trials and this time I'm testing out Tim Holtz's Valley Trail, Nature Walk & Summit View.

I was going to post about the pearls but I've encountered some technical difficulties with them and need to do a bit more testing than just swatches so I'm skipping them for now.

Summary

Overall pigment quality is great across the board. Colours are true with no hidden surprises when mixed/diluted with 100% isopropyl alcohol.

Colour vibrancy can be enhanced by adding more pigment drops as you can see in the Nature Walk swatch.

The only negative is the similar shades found in the three sets. In hindsight, if I had more time to choose sets I wouldnt have chosen Valley Trail.

On the plus side, I can be quite liberal with the green/teal and pinks and not worry about running out of those colours any time soon.
