Greetings to everyone and welcome to my blog.
Congratulations to all coffee lovers on their special day
As many of us already know, International Coffee Day is celebrated every October 1. This date is dedicated to recognizing the diversity, quality, and importance of one of the most widely consumed products in the world.
This date was established in March 2014 by the ICO (International Coffee Organization), with the aim of providing a day that would allow consumers and coffee lovers to celebrate the history and value of the work carried out by producers and marketers in this industry. Source consulted on Instagram
As a coffee lover, I wanted to celebrate by compiling some moments when I enjoyed a cup of coffee over the course of a year—and also to take advantage of the fact that yesterday was “Thursdays of Memories.” I actually wanted to post this yesterday, but I just couldn’t manage it. It was also difficult to choose just one image per month, so some months have two images.
This collection I’m sharing with you spans from October 2025 to October 2026. A year of happily embracing this tradition.
The image from October 2025 was taken at the Maderos café, a well-known spot in the city of El Tigre.
By November 2025, the coffee breaks were already taking on a Christmas feel, without losing our Llanero essence—specifically, guayoyo coffee.
The coffee moments of December 2025 were all about Christmas.
The January 2026 photo captures the first coffee of the year.
February 2026 shows my first mug of the year, bought at Baratodo.
March 2026 features two cherished mugs: an enamel one I was gifted, and another made by local artisans that my son bought for me.
April 2026 captures a day of coffee and work, featuring my Orinoco mug.
May 2026 shows a coffee in my "pets" mug.
The June 2026 photos were taken at home, featuring a mix of black coffee and café con leche.
July 2026 showcases my mom's mugs.
The August 2026 photos show a traditional breakfast and a visit to the Hospisalud café.
The September 2026 photos are the most varied, reflecting coffee breaks during workouts, work, and quiet moments at home.
The October 2026 photos reflect dates that are significant to me, such as Pink October and the approach of Christmas.
And so, I wrap up this journey through a year of coffee moments—sharing some of my favorite snapshots to celebrate International Coffee Day. Have a wonderful end to the work week!
