Greetings, everyone... welcome to my blog.
Setting goals and mapping out plans is all part of daily life, but actually executing them is on another level. That’s where mind, inner strength, positive energy, soul, motivation, and body—especially the body—come together. If you don't get moving, if you don't carry out the plan, everything stays locked inside you; yet some goals require a fully synchronized effort to become reality.
I entered the world of training and walking over four years ago. I don't say "running" or "racing" just yet—I haven't unlocked that level yet, though I’d love to. Whenever I see my group signing up for races while only a few of us opt for the walks, I’m captivated by the excitement; the adrenaline surges when we watch them cross the finish line.
This week has involved more intense training—warm-ups, walks, jogs, functional exercises, and, finally, proper stretching. But I have to admit, the element that has given me the most strength throughout this process is the weather. Training first thing in the morning is always the most satisfying.
Nature is another source of energy. I go out to train in the surrounding area, and I enjoy photographing landscape details and the sunrise. I perform better at that time of day and don't tire as easily because the air is so fresh.
Next Sunday is the race sponsored by Vida and the Ángeles de Bárbara Foundation, and being in excellent physical shape is key to completing it. The start time is very early in the morning, as the weather plays a significant role in the participants' performance.
Although I won't be competing in the race, I’ve started jogging and running to build up my muscle strength—and who knows? Maybe I’ll work up the courage to enter a race in the future. Every goal in life has a starting point.
Thanks for visiting my blog... have a wonderful day.
