About this video

This is the second edition of my traditional wood fire cooking featuring one of the simplest and tastiest Philippines dishes called "Chicken Liver Adobo". This dish is so simple you only need one main ingredient: Chicken Liver. But I added some potatoes (which is completely optional), the rest are spices, soy sauce, and white vinegar.

Goal of this video

One of my many goals in making this video is to share with the world the Filipinos' way of cooking particularly "Home Cooking" in the traditional way using a wood fire and a clay stove.

Ingredients of Chicken Liver Adobo:

  • 750 grams of chicken liver
  • 200 grams of potatoes
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 pieces small red onion
  • 1/2 tablespoon crushed black pepper
  • 1 small ginger
  • 60 ml soy sauce (you can add more to adjust the saltiness)
  • 60 ml soy sauce (you can add more to adjust the sourness)
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil (for sauteeing)

Below are images of the ingredients and some gif images of the cooking itself
